SSC Napoli x Zone7
An injury prediction platform, a league title, a renewal through 2026.
SSC Napoli adopted the Zone7 platform in its medical department from September 2022, the first Italian club to do so. The system analyses training, match and biometric data to flag injury risk patterns and suggest practical workload interventions. In the 2022/23 season, the title-winning one, Napoli recorded a 59% increase in days available and a 52% reduction in days lost to non-contact injuries versus the prior season. The partnership was renewed through 2026, with a statement from Scientific Director of the Medical Area, Prof. Raffaele Landolfi.

One limit no official source addresses: the season with the strongest results is also the title-winning one, and isolating Zone7's specific contribution from squad quality, medical staff and variance would require a control neither the club nor the vendor has published.
