GeniusIQ, Genius Sports' AI and data platform, is deployed across all 18 Liga MX stadiums: it captures billions of tracking data points per game, reads and predicts live play, and powers enhanced broadcasts, semi-automated offsides and performance tools. From September TelevisaUnivision uses it to add graphics and data to live coverage, while the Moments engine turns live data into premium inventory for real-time advertising.

The same data layer serves officiating, performance and monetization: a single tracking investment paid back by three value streams. Commercial value, however, depends on how accurately Moments predicts play, and the release gives no figure on that or on expected incremental revenue.
